Paris taxi

The same price,
whatever the hour.

Our fares are set by prefectoral decree. They don’t rise when demand rises — not at peak hours, not in the rain, not on a strike night.

Calculate my price

Paris ⇄ CDG, right bank: €56

The same trip, in four situations where a dynamic-pricing service’s price rises. With us, the amount doesn’t change:

  • A Tuesday at 9 a.m., in the rain
    peak hour
    €56
  • A Friday at 6 p.m., the eve of a getaway
    high demand
    €56
  • December 31 at 11 p.m.
the most in-demand night of the year
    €56
  • A transport strike day
    exceptional demand
    €56

Excluding the booking supplement (€4 immediate, €7 in advance), also regulated. Left bank: €65. To Orly: €36 left bank, €45 right bank.

The bus lanes

It’s the most concrete advantage, and the least known. A Paris taxi is allowed to use the lanes reserved for buses; a VTC is not. At the hours when the routes to CDG and Orly are jammed, this permission doesn’t save a few seconds: it’s the difference between moving and waiting.

This advantage rests on no commercial promise of ours. It follows from the taxi licence itself.

What’s included, no add-ons

Luggage is loaded at no extra charge, whatever the number, within the boot’s capacity. Bank cards are accepted on board. A receipt is issued. These aren’t goodwill gestures: they’re obligations attached to taxi status, which you can therefore require.

Frequently asked questions

Can the price rise when demand is high?
No. Paris taxi fares are set by prefectoral decree: neither the hour, nor the weather, nor the number of customers looking for a car at the same time change them. The airport flat fare is €56 to CDG right bank on a Tuesday morning just as on December 31 at midnight.
What do the bus lanes change in practice?
A taxi is allowed to use the lanes reserved for buses; a VTC is not. At peak hours and on the routes to the airports, that’s the difference between moving and waiting in the same jam as everyone else. It’s a taxi’s most concrete advantage, and it depends on no commercial promise: it follows from the licence.
Are luggage and card payment charged extra?
No. Luggage is loaded at no extra charge, bank cards are accepted on board and a receipt is issued. These are obligations of taxi status, not commercial options.
What hours can you be reached?
At any hour, 7 days a week. A request sent through the site gets an immediate reply.
Which languages do you speak?
French, English and Portuguese.
